Chinchilla Mix was our original, very first product at Little Chintas, and has had it's first 'revamp' in 9 years and has been renamed 'Calendula Mix' as it is now no longer species specific, suitable for your chinchilla, and your rabbit, and your guinea pig!
This excellent treat has been developed after extensive research into small animal dietary requirements. It contains only the most beneficial ingredients for optimal digestive, heart, liver, kidney, skin, coat & immune health to keep your pet in top condition. This mix can be fed as a complete diet or as a treat.
It contains no added colours, preservatives, flavours or sweeteners, it is 100% healthy & delicious!
Ingredients;
Lucerne ~ Medicago sativa; High in many essential vitamins and minerals, including A, D, E, K, and even the full family of B vitamins; biotin, calcium, folic acid, iron, magnesium, potassium and many others, as well as being very high in protein, especially when dried.
Rolled Oats^ ~ Avena Sativa; High in fibre to promote healthy gut function. High in minerals and healthy protein. Supports brain and heart health.
Rosehip* ~ Rosa canina; Highest vitamin C content of any food product. Promotes kidney, bladder, heart, and liver function and healing. Improves skin health and aids healthy weight loss.
Calendula* ~ Calendula officinalis; High in antioxidants, anti-viral, anti-bacterial. Calming, and soothing.
Hawthorn* ~ Crataegus oxycanthus; Supports heart health, balances blood pressure, improves digestion.
Calendula Mix has a treat ratio of 1T(5g)-1/4C per day with pellets or as a whole food at 1/4-1 C per day depending on species.
Do not feed ad-lib as this will encourage selective feeding.
