This herbal blend is designed to help mums milk establish and stay sustained during the lactation process. Start feeding post-birth, stop feeding 1-2 weeks before you begin weaning babies.
This mix is a healthy combination of tasty herbs selected for their post-partum recovery and lactation promoting properties. Designed to help mum establish a good milk supply to feed her offspring (especially helpful with large litters), while at the same time aiding recovery from the pregnancy and birthing process, this herbal mix is recommended in addition to a healthy diet. It contains no added colours, preservatives, flavours or sweeteners; it is 100% healthy & delicious!
Ingredients include;
~ Trigonella foenum-graecum; Improves digestion, improves appetite, reduces inflammation.
~ Foeniculum vulgare; High in fibre, vitamins and minerals. Low in fat. Good for bone and skin health. Lowers blood pressure, aids digestion, supports heart and eye health.
~ Rubus idaeus; High in vitamin C, flavonoids, and antioxidants. Promotes respiratory and heart health.
~ Linum usitatissimum; Aids weightloss for overweight pets. High fibre to support healthy digestive function. Heart healthy.
~ Rosa canina; Highest vitamin C content of any food product. Promotes kidney, bladder, heart, and liver function and healing. Improves skin health and aids healthy weight loss.
Little Chintas® Lactation Support has a feed ratio of 1 teaspoon for Chinchillas, Guinea pigs, small & medium size Rabbits to 2 teaspoons for large Rabbits.
NOTE: For chinchillas and rabbits we recommend stopping feeding Lactation Support at 8 weeks, with the view to beginning weaning at 10 weeks so the babies can be removed from mum at around 12 weeks. For guinea pigs Lactation Support will only need to be fed for about 2 weeks, male pups should be removed from mum by 3-4weeks (to avoid accidental mating), females should, ideally, remain with mum until at least 6 weeks.
